Kids & Karate

In JKS India (Assam) karate training for children is a natural part of our official program. In JKS India (Assam) we see karate as an exciting, informative and effective form of martial arts - also for children. We learn that children, even at an early age can have a high yield of karate training. Class designed so that the training and exercises are based on the child's age and maturity. Through an inspiring, but also demanding teaching developed our students. The frames are exactly the same as for adult practitioners, where a traditional practice proper etiquette and a distinct discipline is maintained. We have a special graduation curriculum for children in order to ensure their continued development, without compromising on the requirements and level.

The training is structured in three areas as described here:

Chiiku is the mental side, where the concentration, perception and self-discipline grows. The child learns to be focused, determined and believe in themselves. By going to graduations (belt samples) obtained a good experience in achieving its goals. It is an important and healthy element for the children to experience recognition by passing graduations and participating in competitions, training camps, etc.

Taiiku is the physical side, where the body's muscles, tendons, agility, balance, coordination, huritghed and senses strengthened. Proper breathing is taught. All movements in karate is natural for the body's anatomy. The child will gradually build up a healthy body with strength, flexibility and stamina.

Tokuiku is the moral side, where you learn to respect others, be ydmug, considerate and be part of a community with rules and values. In JKS India (Assam), friendship and respect among the children an important part of the community.

Besides the daily training offered our children to participate in a wide range of activities such as training camps throughout the year and rallies.

Our experience in JKS India (Assam) is that our students through karate practice greater self-discipline and confidence in themselves. The children thrive better with the energy to cope with future demands and challenges. At school the children experienced more concentrated and learning readiness. In short, karate training gives children greater self-esteem, control of themselves and overview!
